Operations Status

Known Performance Issues:

ASCN –  The T360-BH sensor is showing high frequency noise due to conditions external to the sensor.

BORK – Data quality for all channels from the STS-6 is poor as of day 2020,162-04:27.

CMLA – The horizontal channels from the STS-6 are showing long period noise.  The “2” components from the STS-5 are showing occasional offsets.

DGAR – The response of the STS1-N is anomalous.  The DGAR-10 Q330 digitizer is rebooting frequently.

ERM – The M2166 sensor is showing long period noise on the vertical channels.

KURK – The STS-6 horizontal channels are noisy.

KWJN – The infrasound and weather station channels are not being emitted due to issues with the QEP.

MSEY – Data quality from the STS-6 is poor (showing a very low resolution response) indicating a power supply circuit board failure in the sensor.

NIL – KS-54000 Z’s response is anomalous following flooding in spring 2013.  KS-54000 channels are nonseismic (bit noise) after faulty Q330 replaced.

NNA – The STS-2 is showing excessive long period noise since August 2018.  Data quality for the LN200/EN200 channels from the Episensor is poor.

NRIL – EME wishes to delay upgrade until the station can be relocated.

OBN – The CMG-3T vertical channels are noisy.

RAYN – All channels from the T360 are pulsing and show occasional long period noise.

RPN – STS-1E channels are non-seismic following a large offset day 2019,163-18:46.  Data quality from the STS-1N is poor as of day 2020,187-05:51.  The STS-2.5 horizontal channels are noisy suspected to be caused by a water supply pump near the station.  The NOAA provided VSAT link is inoperable. The station is currently down due to power issues.

SACV – The T360BH channels are noisy.

UOSS – Both sensors are showing anthropogenic noise due to daily construction and heavy equipment near the station.

WRAB – The T240 horizontal channels are noisy. The station is currently down due to power issues.
